35 years of history
on the borders of Brittany and Vendée
In 1988, Incertain Temps took up its roots. The company created raincoats and jackets based on workwear models, including the first copy of an American fireman's jacket! The company's approach is to combine creativity and authenticity, with pieces conceived, designed and manufactured exclusively in the west of France. The Incertain Temps collection can be found in over a hundred fashionable French retailers, at points of sale in Madrid and Munich, and of course in Paris department stores such as Samaritaine, Printemps and Galeries Lafayette.
35 years later, the company's most loyal customers shared their desires for a piece that would be both ICONIC, while affirming the company's well-known and recognized FRENCH stamp. They suggested, gave ideas, sometimes fervently defended their motivations and wishes for a French raincoat that would look good in all circumstances (and not just in bad weather...), and that would stand the test of time.
We've sourced the finest waxed fabrics from our British suppliers, who've been making charcoal since 1880!
And because we don't change: it goes without saying that all our products are made in France.
