Your garment is made from water-repellent waxed cotton fabric. This means that in most cases, the wax treatment is sufficient to clean the garment by gently brushing it with a damp sponge.
Once or twice a year, you can use a wax spray or waterproofing wax to give your garment a beautiful natural patina, characteristic of waxed cotton fabrics.
Tarpaulin eyelets and turnstiles require a set of fasteners that you're unlikely to find anywhere, unlike snap fasteners, which can be repaired by any good cobbler. If, despite all the care you've taken in making your garment, you still have a rivet or other problem, please contact us to join our repair service. We'll be delighted to answer all your questions.
